I uncovered my passion for progressive house and melodic techno watching Korolova DJ in beautiful locations. My favorite musicians, include Paul Oakenfold, Yotto, Tinlicker, Rufus Du Sol, Ben Bohmer, Above and Beyond.
My very first time DJing was 2 regular CD players and a mixer, then around 2008 I purchased a numark mixtrack pro, then I upgraded to a Denon MCX8000, then I wanted to learn rekordbox after mastering Serato so I picked up Pioneer DDJ-FLX6 Then I wanted to be club ready so i invested in Pioneer flagship DDJ-XZ. I still have all my controllers and use the Denon for gigs, the DDJ-FLX6 as backup, the XDJ-XZ stays safely in the Studio under a decksaver.
The Alchemist began his love for electronic music in the 90's with Much Dance collections, listening to the latest Chris Sheppard Pirate Mix Radio show. Listening to Mc Mario at the Dome.

He got sick through a accident on the job and developed Rheumatoid Arthritis, He then moved to Vancouver to get treatment, and get his life back. In 2007 he returned to Ottawa to raise a family. He was gifted 2 beautiful kids.
In 2017 he was in a horrible accident, he developed severe PTSD and vertigo, that linked with the pandemic took a toll on him and his family, he and many others turned to alcohol and drugs to cope. In late 2020 he quit all the vices, in 2021 he saw Korolova for the first time and loved the music. He decided to pull out his old Numark Mix Track pro, the music became his therapy and his way to the light in the battle with mental health. He trained daily learning technique music and styles. He found a passion with progressive house and melodic techno as his specialty.

There are many people behind my success as a DJ, there has been many times where I ask myself why the hell am I doing this. Thanks to them...
My wife Julie, who has dealt with my imperfections and supported my dreams and passions, she even designed my logo. She is the one who lets me go to shows and get inspired, she is also my personal trainer, nutrionist, nurse and best friend. She is beautiful, smart and is a tough lady.
Andre Proulx (DJ dis moi Oui) In the height of covid with isolation, and not allowed to visit anyone or be fined. He was a neighbor who became a great friend, he allowed me to start with mini mixes on his radio show and then introduced me to the station owner. Then landed with blast the radio. I try not to miss his shows, his charisma, charm and heart cannot be matched.
Mark Turner, met in high school, and worked in several night clubs together, we were always into trance and dance. We reconnected and have supported each other and are like brothers. He is the one who reviews 95% of my releases. He introduces me to new artists and sounds. He keeps me level, and is the only person who doesn't get tired of my sets. Also the muscles in the pic. Who makes my shirts look amazing.
Eric Dion Aka Dj Rush N Noise, he is a amazing artist with a huge heart. He directed me with my first professional controller, and saved me on my big shows, and has my back. His skill blows my mind i am in awe.
Kenny my brother, he has always been there, and he has invested in my dreams coming true. He is a truly great guy with a big heart.
William and Gabrielle, my kids. They are the reason i breathe. I couldnt be more proud of them, they might not love my music but support me regardless.
John Mielke the owner of blast the radio, who gave me a outlet for sharing my passion, he is a huge supporter of mental health awareness and a great guy.
Steve Finney DJ A standup guy, a very talented DJ friend and mentor, he is one of my favorite guests to perform with on twitch or in the clubs. He is a master of the craft and he has taught me a ton of technique. You can catch him on blast the radio 7pm Eastern Sundays.
Always wanted to take a stab at techno, turned out well, will be cranking the bpm in the near future.
